Hi, I’m Katie (she/her),

the one-woman creative behind katie dwyer photography!

Based out of Boston, my brand photography experience aims to create an inclusive, loving and stress-free brand experience where we plan, style and curate your vision. My mission is to create a safe space for females, males and non-binary peeps to stand in their truth and be celebrated. It’s been quite a journey to get here, though.

My Personal Brand Story

Leading up to launching Katie Dwyer Photography…

My personal brand story is rooted in 18+ years of hospitality and high-end customer experiences. From selling destinations while partnering with over 25 different hotel chains in the tourism world, to popping corks at lavish wine bars, my careers have landed me at some of the largest Fortune 500 companies worldwide - adidas & Bose to name a few. 

However as I sat at a desk from 9-5 in the corporate world, there was always a little voice. That little twang in my gut that said, 

“You’re made for more”.

I hushed that voice for years, until one day the stars aligned and I finally listened. 

I’ve always been told I have an eye for photography and really, snapping photos of the world around me lit me up big time. But, no one really makes a living from photography, right? This was the story running through my head for years. 

At 28, I came out of the closet upon meeting my now wife and the flood gates opened.

Here I was, standing in my truth feeling more aligned than ever and ready to take the risk and listen to that little voice. I was ready to share my light with the world.

This was a turning point for me; it was time to listen and live life on my own terms.

I bought an entry level camera. I shot anything and everything - when we traveled, went to the grocery store, a close friend — I wanted to share the story. Years later, after much exploration — Katie Dwyer Photography was born.

I created this brand to live my life on my own terms. I am building a brand that attracts like-minded creative entrepreneurs like yourself who hustle to make their dream a reality. I am here to help you share their light with the world.
