I’ve always known I was made for more.
More creativity. More connection. More meaning.
Long before I was behind the camera, I spent over 20 years immersed in hospitality and high-end customer experiences. I partnered with over 25 hotel brands, worked in tourism, curated wine bar moments, and collaborated with global companies like adidas and Bose. That work taught me how to make people feel seen—and how to deliver experiences with intention.
But the deeper truth?
I was always drawn to storytelling.
Not just what people do, but who they are underneath it all.
I picked up an entry-level camera without a plan—just curiosity and a pull I couldn’t ignore. I taught myself everything. I photographed my life, my friends, my travels. Slowly, quietly, I started to build something of my own.
Modern brand magic (previously Katie Dwyer Photography) was born from the ground up—with grit, heart, and a whole lot of belief.
Now, I help creative entrepreneurs and everyday visionaries show up as themselves. Not the polished version. The real version. The one that connects, inspires, and leaves a lasting impression.
